My favourite day

1. What‘s your favourite day of the week? Why?
My favourite day of the week is Saturday, because I do not go to work and I have free times.
2. What do you usually do in the morning?
I often go shopping on Saturday in the morning. Then I get up at 8.30 a.m., I have a shower, after that I have coffee. I'm going often go to Panevežys or Šiauliai. Sometimes I do housework in the morning.
3. Where do you have lunch? What do you usually do after lunch?
Sometimes I have lunch at cafeteria, but mostly I make food at home. After lunch I have free times.
4. What do you usually do in the evening?
In the evening I usually go in=to the garden, watch TV.
When I’m in bed, I read a book, before I sleep.

Jurate's favourite day of the week

My favourite day of the week is Saturday because I can go to my alotment at day and at night I can sit at my computer!

I love Saturday mornings because I can relax and not hurry. I often wake up at before 9 o'clock, but I usually stay in bed for an hour more. I take my laptop to the bed with me and I watch online TV news in English or read English newspapers. Then I get up and I make a cup of coffee with milk. I have time to talk to my Mum and to pat (paglostyti) my cat. Then I go out to shops or to the town market. I usually go to the market when I need fish because the best fish in Pasvalys is sold (parduodama) in this market.

If the weather is good in the morning, I go to my alotment. The alotment is outside Pasvalys, about one kilometer away, so I usually cycle there. I like to weed or to cut grass, I like to watch my vegetables grow. I always take my audioplayer with me and I listen to various stories in English. When I'm hungry I cycle back home to cook lunch. I usually feel tired, but relaxed and refreshed(atsigavusi) in the fresh air. I feel happy.

On Saturdays my lunch sometimes can be very late, it's almost (beveik) dinner. I make it slowly and after I eat I like to lie on my bed with my laptop and find interesting stories to read on the Internet. After I rest, I go out for a walk and sometimes my mother or my cat goes out with me. When I get back home from my walk, I usally make tea or coffee for myself and I go back to my computer. Sometimes I stay online until 2 AM. I use the Internet too much!

1. What is your favourite day of the week? Why? My favourite day of the week is Saturday because it's the first day of the weekend. I can work at home. I can go to the towns or to my children. I don't have to work tomorrow=next day because it's Sunday.
2. What do you usually do in the morning? I wake up very early and I'm thinking what I will do this day. I get up early. I dress up=get dressed and go soon to my animals. Thay always have breakfast. Then I make breakfast for me and my husband. In the morning I always use the Internet too. And I often go to shopping.
3. Where do you have lunch? What do you usually do after lunch? I usually have lunch with my husband. I always make things he likes. We have time to talk about our week or about our weekend. After lunch I work at home.
4. What do you usually do in the evening? In the evening I make dinner, I use the Internet, I read a book. On Saturday I never go to sleep until midnight or sometimes later.
